I am Dr. Petronella Daróczi, an obstetrician-gynecologist.

Since childhood, I have wanted to be a doctor. but it was during my sixth-year internship, encountering childbirth, that I had the defining experience that led me toward obstetrics and gynecology. The touching childbirth experiences I encounter in my work provide me with continuous renewal. I am interested in the broad spectrum of gynecological surgery, with a particular focus on vaginal procedures.In the future, I would like to specialize in urogynecology, which includes the treatment of conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, bladder hernia, rectal hernia, urinary incontinence, and perineal injuries related to childbirth. I consider it important to keep my professional expertise up-to-date. To achieve this, I continuously study the latest scientific findings and regularly participate in various professional forums and scientific conferences.

I believe that the experience of pregnancy for expectant mothers can be improved

I aim to provide more in prenatal care than what is generally expected.Currently, I am completing a kinesio taping course for expectant mothers to help alleviate pregnancy-related complaints such as back pain, diastasis recti, stretch marks, and limb swelling. I want prenatal care to be more than just mandatory examinations, so I am committed to improving the experience of pregnancy. 

Open-mindedness, trusting atmosphere

The most motivating aspect of my work is when I feel that I have been able to help someone. I particularly enjoy receiving thank-you messages and letters—they really uplift me when I read them. 😊

My goal is for my patients to feel safe, and as a woman, I strive to create an empathetic environment where they can openly discuss their concerns.

I consider myself particularly accepting and open-minded. I warmly welcome members of the LGBTQ+ community to my clinic as well.
