Dr. Tóth A. Edina - obstetrician-gynecologist specialist.

I obtained my medical degree in Romanian from the Faculty of General Medicine at the "Victor Babeș" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Timișoara, so I am fluent in both Romanian and Hungarian. During my university years, I found the complexity of obstetrics and gynecology particularly inspiring during the clinical rotations, which solidified my decision to specialize in this field. Until 2021, I worked at the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Central Hospital and University Teaching Hospital, and I am currently employed at the Jahn Ferenc South Pest Hospital and Outpatient Clinic.

Obstetrics and gynecology are full of wonder

Successfully treating a prolonged and troublesome issue is just as rewarding as the birth of a long-awaited baby. The most beautiful moments for me occur in the delivery room, where we, as a team, help bring a new life and a family into the world. Being a woman is a privilege, and it's important to take care of this privilege. Therefore, I focus not only on treating illnesses but also on preserving women's health: I always strive to highlight the importance of preventing more serious problems and the significance of screenings.

Creating a stress-free environment in my practice is very important to me

A routine gynecological exam can be stressful enough on its own. As a doctor, I believe it's my job to help alleviate any discomfort and ease the process for my patients.  I strive to create an environment in my office where patients can relax and feel at ease;a place where we can have open, confidential conversations without any taboos, allowing them to ask any questions freely and honestly. What can patients come to me for?
