I am Dr. M\u00e1rk Sv\u00e9bis <\/strong>internist, diabetologist.<\/h4>

2009-ben v\u00e9geztem a Semmelweis Egyetem \u00c1ltal\u00e1nos Orvostudom\u00e1nyi Kar\u00e1n, az\u00f3ta a Semmelweis Egyetem I.sz. Belgy\u00f3gy\u00e1szati Klinik\u00e1j\u00e1n, illetve mai nev\u00e9n Belgy\u00f3gy\u00e1szati \u00e9s Onkol\u00f3giai Klinik\u00e1j\u00e1n dolgozom. 2014 \u00f3ta vagyok belgy\u00f3gy\u00e1sz szakorvos, 2021 \u00f3ta diabetol\u00f3gus. Emellett a klinik\u00e1n a terhess\u00e9gi cukorbetegs\u00e9g epidemiol\u00f3giai jellemz\u0151it kutatom. <\/p>

A cukorbetegs\u00e9g minden spektrum\u00e1val foglalkozom: a cukorbetegs\u00e9g megel\u0151z\u00e9s\u00e9vel, az 1-es t\u00edpus\u00fa (fiatalkori) \u00e9s a 2-es t\u00edpus\u00fa (id\u0151skori) cukorbetegs\u00e9g ell\u00e1t\u00e1s\u00e1val, a terhess\u00e9gi cukorbeteg n\u0151k, valamint az 1-es \u00e9s 2-es t\u00edpus\u00fa cukorbeteg v\u00e1rand\u00f3s n\u0151k gondoz\u00e1s\u00e1val is. K\u00fcl\u00f6n figyelmet szentelek az 1-es t\u00edpus\u00fa cukorbetegek szenzoros \u00e9s inzulinpumpa kezel\u00e9s\u00e9re, valamint sportol\u00f3i \u00e9letm\u00f3djukra.<\/p>

Since 2014, there have been numerous advancements in diabetology: sensor technology for type 1 diabetes has become supported, sensor-controlled pumps are now available, and several new medications for the treatment of type 2 diabetes have been introduced. I strive to incorporate these advancements into daily practice.<\/p>

What happens during a diabetes consultation? Why is it necessary?<\/strong><\/h4>

Type 2 diabetes is a civilization-related epidemic affecting approximately 10% of the population. The management of type 2 diabetes relies on three pillars: diet, regular physical activity, and medication. The first two pillars also play a crucial role in prevention, as this is primarily a lifestyle-related condition.<\/p>

The same results can be achieved through various approaches. During consultations, we customize different treatment methods, as collaboration with patients is key to success. During shorter follow-up examinations, we review the agreed-upon treatment plan.<\/p>

In the management of type 1 diabetes, I consider it crucial to map out the daily routine and adjust the diet, exercise, and insulin treatment accordingly.<\/p>

Caring for pregnant young adults with diabetes is a passion of mine, which, while challenging, is a rewarding aspect of diabetology.<\/p>
