There are no long lines, and you won’t be left waiting with an empty stomach – fasting is only required if absolutely necessary.

- It is advisable to go for a blood draw in the morning (between 7:00-8:30 a.m.), especially if a stress test (such as a glucose tolerance test or insulin resistance test) is involved, as there will be a two-hour interval between the first and last blood draws in these cases!
- "Whenever possible, all tests should be done on an empty stomach. However, if you’ve accidentally eaten, don’t panic: in many cases, the tests can still be performed, or they can be done 6 hours after eating. In such cases, call our medical assistants, who will be happy to help you choose the appropriate time for your test, taking your meal into account."
- Before a blood draw, it is recommended to drink plain water (tap water or still, unflavored mineral water).
- For fasting blood tests, coffee and tea should also be avoided, as they can alter the results.
- For children under 14 years old, please always schedule the appointment by phone.

Maximum flexibility so you can always take care of your health comfortably
Non-fasting tests can be performed in the afternoon, outside regular blood draw hours, upon special request. In this case, phone registration and discussion are required.
In most cases, your results will be sent to you by email the next day (or two days later for afternoon blood draws). If you don’t use an email system, we can also provide your results in paper form during office hours. For specialized laboratory tests, results will be available at a later date, and you can receive detailed information about this during your blood draw.

Hormone testing performed during the early phase of the menstrual cycle provides crucial information for assessing fertility and ovarian function. We measure the following hormones:
FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone)
FSH levels show how the ovaries respond to hormonal stimulation. It plays a vital role in egg maturation, and shifts in these values can provide insight into your ovarian reserve.
LH (Luteinizing Hormone)
LH regulates ovulation and the development of the corpus luteum. Its ratio relative to FSH helps identify potential hormonal imbalances, such as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).
E2 (Estradiol)
Estradiol is one of the most important female sex hormones, serving as a key indicator of follicle maturation. These values help assess ovarian activity.
AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone)
AMH is one of the most accurate indicators of ovarian reserve. Measuring it provides a reliable guide for planning fertility treatments and detecting premature ovarian insufficiency.

Day 19–21 Hormone Testing
Hormone testing performed during the second half of the menstrual cycle helps uncover hormonal imbalances that can affect fertility, the menstrual cycle, and overall health. We evaluate the following hormones:
Progesterone
Progesterone serves as a primary marker of corpus luteum function. Elevated levels following ovulation ensure the endometrium is optimally prepared for the implantation of the fertilized oocyte. A deficiency in this hormone may reflect a luteal phase defect.
Prolactin
Prolactin regulates milk production in the mammary glands, but elevated levels can lead to infertility, menstrual irregularities, or other hormonal imbalances. Testing prolactin helps identify potential hormone overproduction.
Testosterone
Although primarily known as a male hormone, testosterone also plays an important role in the female body. Excessively high levels are often linked to Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), increased hair growth, or acne.

24-Week Prenatal Screening
Laboratory tests performed around the 24th week of pregnancy provide vital information about the health of both mother and baby. This period is especially crucial for screening for gestational diabetes, as well as checking kidney and liver function and maternal nutrient levels.
The screening package includes:
• OGTT (Oral Glucose Tolerance Test)
The OGTT is used to identify gestational diabetes. The test begins with a fasting blood sugar measurement, followed by the consumption of a specific glucose drink, after which repeated blood draws track changes in your blood sugar levels.
• Urinalysis
A urine sample can detect urinary tract infections, as well as the presence of protein or sugar, which may indicate kidney problems or pregnancy complications.
• Complete blood count (CBC)
A complete blood count (CBC) helps in the early detection of anemia and other blood disorders.
• Electrolytes: Sodium (Na), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Chloride (Cl)
